I’m Mark Richter, User Experience Leader and Strategist based in St. Louis, MO (born and raised!). I’m open to exploring options for a new full-time UX position, and always looking for part-time freelance projects.

My current full-time employer is Entegral, a startup subsidiary of Enterprise Holdings (owner of Enterprise Rent-A-Car), focused on innovating in the collision repair industry. During my time here, I’ve drawn on my vast experience and used my role to gain traction throughout the organization for working more lean and collaborative between UX, Product and Engineering; have been leading the advancement of our team’s research capabilities; and taken on a lead role mentoring UX team members while overseeing cohesiveness within our entire product suite.

All of this while also handling the research and design for the two products that I oversee (one B2B, the other B2C), working with one Product Manager, two Product Owners and three development teams.

My work history also includes a stop at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where we built and maintained applications in support of the United States Treasury. Prior to that, I spent nearly 20 years at Maritz in suburban St. Louis, where I tackled a wide variety of projects for different business units and in numerous roles, from copywriter to project manager to visual designer, culminating in the natural evolution of UX designer and researcher, creating experiences that solve real problems for real people. Over the years, I have also worked with several startups in a freelance role, as a jack-of-all trades UX practitioner.
